Keenline Conveyor Systems
Keenline Conveyor Systems was founded in 1947. At that time, at the original outset, our core business was making soft drink mixing machines for carbonation, and some conveyor systems to support them. Don Sissler, who owned the Company at that time, held patents on several beverage machines, and through process changes in the soft drink industry, the beverage-mixing machine became obsolete, however, the demand for the conveyor lines for bottles and cans was emerging and thriving. Keenline seized the opportunity and developed early conveyor lines to serve a variety of different functions and industries.

Keenline get trademark for name and logo
Keenline obtains 5 patents on Machines for Mixing Bottles Beverages. Keenline Cascade Finished Bottle Mixer - Mixed all sizes of glass bottles consistently for soda. Thoroughly mixed every bottle via gravity and motor Blending syrup and carbonated water.
Keenline has 20 employees
Don Sissler dies in a car accident, and company shut down while in sister's estate. Business essentially closes up, and eventually sells to Max Fenzel.
Max Fenzl, the last remaining Keenline employee, immediately bought company, and ran it as a three man shop for 10 years.
Pete Kerztyn purchased Keenline from Max Fenzl. Sales were only $59,065. Pete was the director of engineering at Mercury Marine in Oshkosh at the time, and kept his job at Mercury.
Soda industry dramatically changed in the way that soda was made, no longer needed the physical mixing provided by the Keenline mixing machines, and sales plunged 71 percent, leading the company to go into conveyors.
Sales reach the $2 million mark
New building for Keenline built in Omro, WI
John Schuster purchases Keenline, and by introducing new systems to Keenline, takes Keenline to the next level to become a first-class conveyor manufacturer. John introduces the model and motto of “Neat, Clean and Efficient” in everything we do, and introduces new systems and designs that brings Keenline’s systems ahead of its competition with respect to both quality and modern design.
Keenline now sells its conveyor systems in all 50 states, and has sold its systems internationally in all of North America, Germany and Italy.
